15 Key Strokes to a Word Document
In the current market place, businesses both large and small expend large quantities of time and energy trying to achieve more and more with less and less; whether it be less staff or less hours, a great result is expected.
It is this need for efficiency and expediency that has shaped o'neill.software, and we have been providing these efficiencies to our clients for many years.
One such client produces many documents on a daily basis, and the software we developed allowed them to produce these documents quickly, easily and efficiently. One such document took just 15 keystrokes to create!
Most programs today can be driven by other programs; a process known as ââ¬Åautomationââ¬Â.
Another excellent example of how automation can aid your business is a ââ¬Åround-tripââ¬Â system we developed for another client.
Their projects were created in Microsoft Project, and weekly timesheets were electronically created and emailed to all of the people working on the projects.
At the end of the week these timesheets, having been filled in, were emailed back to an administrator who saved them into a folder. Another piece of code was then run to update the project details from the timesheets.
With more recent changes to email clients, the process of saving the timesheets into a folder could also be automated.
The examples above demonstrate the sorts of scenarios where we have used software automation to help our clients achieve more with less, whether it be simple construction of Word documents through sophisticated use of templates and macros, or by constructing closed-loop systems to produce, track and manage project data.
o'neill.software has been working with automation of Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes products since 1995 and has developed a reputation for doing so.
NB: insilicoTM was previously o'neill.software until 1st of October, 2007.
